The pigs have swapped the beach for the North Pole. ELK Studios' sequel is out on 1 December 2026, and the demo is already open – try it free, then see how the grid, the Wolf and the bonus really work.

What is Huff N' Puff CollectR 2?

Huff N' Puff CollectR 2 is the follow-up to ELK Studios' Huff N' Puff CollectR, which arrived in April 2026. The cast is unchanged – four pigs and one very persistent wolf – but the pigs have traded their beach holiday for the North Pole, and everything on screen is dressed for Christmas. ELK gives the release as 1 December, and OLBG and slotcatalog both date it to 1 December 2026.

The game runs on CollectR, ELK's own mechanic. You will not find paylines or the usual ways to win. Instead, the pigs move around a grid and pick up gems of their own colour from neighbouring squares. Collected gems pay out and feed a meter, and a full meter drops features onto the grid.

Where the name comes from

Huff N' Puff started life as a three-little-pigs series known from land-based cabinets, complete with houses of straw, wood and brick for the wolf to blow over. ELK's CollectR games keep the story and the houses, but the grid and the maths are new. You do not need to have played the older titles to follow this one.

The headline numbers

ELK quotes a maximum win of 10,000x your stake, double the 5,000x cap of the first CollectR game. OLBG and slotcatalog both list a default RTP of 96%, with lower versions available to casinos, and both rate volatility at 7 out of 10.

How to play the Huff N' Puff CollectR 2 demo

The demo on this page comes straight from ELK's own game launcher, and it opened ahead of the official release. It only loads when you press the button, runs on play credits and needs no account or deposit. Nothing you win in it can be withdrawn.

Your first ten spins

  1. Press Load the demo and wait for the snowy grid to appear.
  2. Choose a small, fixed stake. The demo resets if you run out, so there is no reason to go big.
  3. Follow the four pigs after each spin: each one hops to a gem of its own colour next to it and collects it.
  4. Keep an eye on the collection meter. When it fills, a feature symbol lands on the grid.
  5. Open the paytable from the game menu to see gem values, feature rules and the RTP of the version in front of you.

On a phone the game switches to portrait. If the screen stays dark, reload the page; some browsers only allow embedded games after a first tap.

Pigs, gems, the Wolf and the wheels

Each spin fills the grid with gems, feature symbols and the four pigs. A pig can only collect gems that match its colour and sit next to it horizontally or vertically, so the layout of the whole grid matters more than any single symbol. Gems carry payout levels that can be upgraded during play, and those upgrades stay in place for the bonus.

Features worth knowing

  • Wolf feature: starts when a pig collects the Wolf symbol. Hats build frames on the grid, and the frames reveal houses and coin wins.
  • Expanding grid: some features add rows and columns, giving the pigs more room to work with.
  • Big Wheel: triggered by clearing every symbol from the grid or by landing the Wheel symbol. It can award instant prizes, the bonus or one of the mini games.
  • Gift Mania: three gift-themed mini games in which the pigs gather presents that turn into coin wins.
  • Slot Machine: adding a slot machine coin can set off the Super Wheel, the Feature Wheel or the Jackpot Wheel.

Bonus and Super Bonus

The bonus game begins when the pigs collect three bonus symbols. If one of the three is a super bonus symbol, you get the Super Bonus instead. Grid size, meter progress and gem upgrades all carry over, and at the end the Wolf turns up to blow the houses away and show what is inside.

RTP, volatility and max win

ELK does not print the RTP on its game page, but OLBG and slotcatalog both list 96% as the default. Both also show lower versions – 94%, 92% and 90% – which casinos are free to pick. The version in use appears in the game's paytable, and it is worth checking before you stake real money: over a long session, a few percentage points add up.

OLBG calls that volatility medium-high, slotcatalog calls it high; either way, results swing noticeably. Expect runs of small or no wins between the moments that make the game worth playing. RTP is an average over millions of spins and says nothing about your next hundred.

The 10,000x ceiling is a cap, not a target. It sits at the far end of what the Wolf, the wheels and the bonus can produce together, and most sessions will never come close to it.

Getting the most out of the free demo

A free demo is the cheapest way to find out whether a busy collector game suits you. These habits make it more useful:

  • Learn the colours first. Spend a few spins following just one pig. Once you see how it moves, the grid stops looking random.
  • Watch the meter as well as the balance. The meter shows when features are coming; the balance mostly shows how variable the game is.
  • Try a fixed session. Play 150 spins at the same stake and note how often the bonus turns up. It is usually less often than people expect.
  • Read the paytable. Gem values and feature rules are listed there, and they are the only figures that count.

Play money changes behaviour. In a demo it is easy to raise the stake after a loss or keep going for ‘one more feature’. Treat the demo as a way to understand the game, not as a dress rehearsal for a bigger real-money session.

Playing Huff N' Puff CollectR 2 for real money in the UK

If you decide to play for real after the release, use a casino licensed by the Gambling Commission. Every operator can be checked on the Commission's public register. Licensed sites must confirm your age and identity before you play, and they are linked to GAMSTOP, the free national self-exclusion scheme.

Online slots in Great Britain also carry stake limits: £5 per spin if you are 25 or over, and £2 per spin if you are 18 to 24. Autoplay and features that speed up play are not allowed, and some options sold abroad, such as buying straight into the bonus, may be missing or work differently on UK sites.

  • Check the RTP in the paytable before your first deposit.
  • Set a deposit limit in your account – licensed operators have to offer one.
  • Only take a bonus once you have read and understood its wagering rules.

The buttons marked ‘Play for real money’ on this site lead to a partner offer. You must be 18 or over to gamble.

Fancy a real-money session?

Only at a casino licensed by the Gambling Commission, only with money you can afford to lose, and only if you are 18 or over. The demo above stays free.

Our verdict

A busy, festive sequel that rewards patience

Huff N' Puff CollectR 2 keeps what worked in the first CollectR game and turns the volume up: a Christmas setting, more features and a 10,000x ceiling, twice the original's. The 96% default RTP is fair for the genre. The grid feels crowded at first, and the high volatility means the best moments are rare – the free demo is the right place to find out whether that suits you.

What we like

  • Free demo available before the release
  • 10,000x max win, double the first CollectR game
  • Collector grid with something to watch on every spin

What could be better

  • Busy screen takes a few sessions to read
  • Casinos can run versions well below 96%
  • Long gaps between the big features

The pigs need to collect three bonus symbols. If one of the three is a super bonus symbol, the Super Bonus starts instead of the regular bonus game.
How is it different from the first Huff N' Puff CollectR?
